Review by Sheila - Indianapolis
Great collection
I ordered this book because it had both "Greensleeves" and "Scarborough Fair." I'd rate it as early intermediate, but I'm not complaining. It's nice to be able to play through the songs the first time without a lot of work. The paper is thin and the table of contents looks like it was typed on an old typewriter. Those are the only "budget" features of the book. I'll just have to make sure I make notes in pencil, but for the price it's definitely worth it.

Great Collection
This a great collection of Folk Songs A-Z. From Alouetta to Worried Man Blues. Like History in music notation. Arrangements may appear to be complex to a beginner, all depending on ability to read music. I play the guitar and efficient at reading music so I dove into the music as soon as I got it. Love it. Within a couple songs my daughter became interested and singing along when I got to Camptown Races...Doo da, Doo da.great collection of songs to cover at an open mic or camping trip (Posted on 12/12/2012)
